When several local moms/business owners heard of Robynn Goodell battling an extremely rare, life-threatening cancer, they banded together, made time where there was none in their already packed schedules, fueled by caffeine and a desire to help a fellow mom in need. (Hey, we’re all about multitasking!)
Mamaraderie’s “parent’s night out” is an elegant excuse to line up a babysitter and get out for a good cause. All proceeds are going to the Robynn (Hansen) Goodell fund to help the Goodell family (husband Brian, and children Hailey and Brady) with the mounting expenses that have been heaped upon them since Robynn’s diagnosis in January (she has angiosarcoma of the liver, which is diagnosed in approximately 25 individuals per year in the United States).
The evening soirée, emceed by Sandra Kozimor, will include a hosted wine bar and appetizers, a fabulous trunk show with select accessories, style, beauty and health vendors, music, and a silent auction with thouands of dollars worth of fabulous custom artwork, products and services. Live entertainment will be provided by Daisy Spot’s Brian & Tatiana LaTour (debuting their latest project, The Living Creatures). 25% of sales at the trunk show will go to the fund, with offerings from airbrush tattoos to jewelry, handbags and quality beauty products and services.
The highlight of the night will be the fashion shows, featuring local haute mamas and cutie kids modeling the latest from local boutiques. Good Day Sacramento’s Stefanie Cruz and Courtney Dempsey, Mrs. California 2007 Tracie Stafford, twinsoup.com’s Rachel Campbell, Robynn’s 6-year-old daughter Hailey, and more will be walking the catwalk for a cause.
Silent auction items include a 6-hour limosine excursion, a bunk bed from Goore’s, a custom-fitted replica of Julia Roberts ‘04 Armani Oscar dress from Britt Steele, Edible Crawl tickets, a 5 piece Addy & Sam wardrobe set, a Twin Soup swag bag filled with lots of great “fab finds” and gift certificates for local services, a custom designed Fuffy J Couture signature “Robynn” handbag, and much more!
